It was one of the most important political week during the whole year. First of all, Barack Obama won presidential elections in the USA what can be considered the beginning of a new era not only in the USA but even in global politics. In addition, professor Rafal Ohme, the CEO of Laboratory&Co , gave a highly acclaimed speech during The ARF Advertising Effectiveness Council (on 6th Nov in New York) entitled “Integration: how brain waves relate to brands, sales...and politics”. Many issues raised by Prof. Ohme perfectly fitted into the atmosphere of these hot political days. But it’s worth mentioning that his perspective on research of political preferences, which assumes to combine brain waves and some more traditional (but not trivial) methodologies such as reaction times (RTs), was received very well and attracted great attention from the audience.
